Infrastructure

BAeHAL provides services through its state-of-the-art offshore Software Development Center at Bangalore, India, focusing on specific technologies and business domains.

The infrastructure provides facilities to cover the following

  • Software development
  • Communication
  • Disaster recovery

  • Network & Physical security

BAeHAL is housed in 2 floors with an area of 37,000 sq.ft. Access to the servers and communication systems are restricted and controlled. The security system also maintains a record of employee's accessing various servers.

 

BAeHAL has a well-defined network, physical, data and information security to comply with ISO 27001 Standard.

To ensure information security, independent networks are provided for various client projects. Firewall eliminates unauthorized access from the Internet and the outside world. All web traffic is monitored and processed to check for intrusion.

Infrastructure policies and strategies are aimed at ensuring smooth and uninterrupted development environment.


Business Continuity at BAeHAL

Customer Concern:

We understand the impact of our operational disruption on our customers business. Information security and process continuity are the main drivers for our business strategies. The emphasis is on ensuring these critical activities go on, irrespective of the magnitude and duration of any disaster. The Disaster Recovery Plan focuses on ensuring that the customer does not suffer financial or other losses, due to natural or man- made disasters.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP):

The BCP Manager works with the customer's representative to implement the mutually agreed BCP. The plan may provide for recovery either at the same location or at the alternate location. Allocation of resources are made for recovery action, at the alternate location. Team members are specifically designated for each activity of the recovery process. Special equipment required for BCP operations are provisioned. Periodic back up and storing of software & data is undertaken at an alternate site.The Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) teams have been consecuted.

The BCP addresses the safety issues of employees. Employees are periodically provided with training & drills on evacuation, fire fighting and first aid.

BAeHAL also addresses Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and customer-provided data protection.
